Clair Downey Service started back in 1951 and, since then, has become a trusted name for automotive repair and maintenance services in Sidney and the Saanich Peninsula. With almost seven decades of experience in the industry, we have built a brand that is trusted and known for our convenient and high-quality service. Besides being a provincial designated inspection facility , Clair Downey Service specializes in warranty-approved vehicle maintenance and comprehensive repairs at competitive prices.
Our Facility
Our shop consists of five service bays with a variety of hoists, including a large truck and motorhome bay for lifting oversized vehicles. Our bays are well-equipped and continuously upgraded with everything required to professionally handle all your automotive repair and
maintenance needs. We also have ample parking space, with a large secure storage compound.
Security Storage Compound
Clair Downey Service offers outdoor storage for RVs, trailers, boats, and vehicles.
Compound is fully-fenced and secure.
Storage for units up to 26 feet or 8 meters in overall length.
Vehicle repairs and maintenance easily arranged through our shop.
Reasonable rates.
Storage only. No overnight stays permitted.
Convenient 24/7 access with your own gate key.
Courtesy Cars for Your Convenience
We would be happy to give you a ride home or to work and pick you up when your vehicle is finished. If you cannot be without a vehicle, we also have four courtesy cars and one work truck to keep you mobile. If you require a courtesy car or truck, please request one when booking your appointment .
